Touché was founded in 1997 as a women's clothing
brand, and was acquired in 2003 by Kovac Mfg. in Montreal,
Canada. Since it's modest beginnings, Touché has now grown over the
years to become a well established and sought after brand in the
contemporary market throughout North America.
After 50 years in business, and
growing to be one of the largest manufacturers in Canada, Kovac
mfg. responded to the various market trends that led to the
creation of the Touché brand. There was tremendous acceptance
from existing and new customers due to the quality, price, and fit
of the line. The fashion trends and fabrics are carefully
researched and developed in Canada, United States, Europe, Asia,
and South America, and are translated and adapted for the North
American market.
When the industry is so reliant on
import manufacturing, and regulations are constantly changing,
Kovac mfg. still maintains a large percentage of domestic
manufacturing facilities in order to satisfy an on-hand quality
and fit assurance to their customer. With the resurgence of
Touché, Kovac mfg. is now among the leaders in reputable
companies in Canada.
